International Crimes and Accountability

Uma Fox

Uma Fox serves as a legal fellow with ECCHR’s International Crimes and Accountability Project. She previously contributed to domestic prosecutions of overseas crimes against humanity and genocide with the U.S. Department of Justice’s Human Rights and Special Prosecution Section. Uma has also conducted research and engaged in strategic human rights litigation initiatives in India, Sri Lanka, and Colombia. While an undergraduate, she conducted research and published work on histories of national security law in India, the United Kingdom, and the European Court of Human Rights. Uma recently graduated summa cum laude from Princeton University, where she studied History with minors in Journalism and South Asian Studies and will prospectively begin law school after her fellowship.
