Daniel Augenstein

Daniel Augenstein works as Associate Professor at Tilburg University, Netherlands. He researches and teaches in international law, European law, and legal philosophy, with an interdisciplinary focus on human rights and globalization. After completing his PhD at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy, he worked as a lawyer in Frankfurt am Main and as a lecturer at the University of Edinburgh, UK. In addition to academic publications, he has written numerous research policy studies for European and international organisations and civil society organizations. At ECCHR, he works since June 2022 as consultant on university cooperation in the Institute for Legal Intervention.
