Rahel Weldemariam

Rahel Weldemariam studied Crossmedia Editing / Public Relations at the Stuttgart Media University (HdM) as well as Audiovisual Communication at Duoc UC in Santiago (Chile). The focus of her studies and the subject of her final thesis were the research fields of media use and media effects research. During her studies, she worked in the field of media and communication for the Haus der Geschichte Baden-Württemberg and at the StartUp Center of the HdM. She then completed a two-year editorial traineeship at DUZ Magazin für Wissenschaft & Gesellschaft, interned at the Max Planck Institute for Social Anthropology in science communication and worked as a freelance journalist in the field of picture editing. Since October 2022, she supports the ECCHR's Communications Department as Digital Communications Officer.
