Abby d’Arcy graduated in languages from the University of Oxford, UK, and has a master’s degree in refugee protection and forced migration studies from the University of London, UK. She gained experience in strategic litigation at JUMEN and volunteered for the Border Violence Monitoring Network and Berlin’s Refugee Law Clinic. Prior to that she worked as a BBC radio journalist, podcaster and independent filmmaker. In 2020, Abby d’Arcy was a critical legal trainee in ECCHR’s Border justice program and since 2021 she supports both the Border justice and communications teams.
