Silvia Rojas-Castro

Silvia Rojas Castro studied law at the National University of Colombia (Colombia) and Public Economics, Law, and Politics at the Leuphana University of Lüneburg (Germany). In Colombia, she worked on strategic litigation, women's rights and sexual violence in the Colombian conflict for the human rights organization Dejusticia. She then worked at the German Institute for Global and Area Studies (GIGA) in Hamburg and Polis180 in Berlin. After her Critical Legal Traineeship in 2019, she joined ECCHR as a fellow in March 2020. Since January 2022, Silvia Rojas Castro has worked as a legal advisor and coordinates the South-North partnership with the Argentine organization Centro de Estudios Legales y Sociales (CELS) within the International Crimes and Legal Accountability and Business and Human Rights programs.
