Markus N. Beeko

Markus N. Beeko is the General Secretary of the German section of Amnesty International. Since 2004, he is a member of the German executive level at the organization and besides temporarily heads global projects at the international secretariat in London. He is a member in a range of international steering committees, inter alia he manages Amnesty's strand "Human Rights in the Digital Age". Before his career at Amnesty International Markus was business administrator in a high-level position at the Swiss policy and business counseling firm Prognos AG and has earlier worked in a leading international communication agency.
