Lilian Löwenbrück

Lilian Löwenbrück studied law in Berlin and Alicante (Spain) and subsequently obtained an LL.M. in Transnational Crime and Justice at the University for Peace and the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute in Turin (Italy). After her studies, she completed internships at Amnesty International and the Victims Participation Office of an international criminal tribunal in The Hague (Netherlands). Following her legal clerkship at the Berlin Court of Appeal, she worked as a legal advisor in an NGO on gender-based intimate partner violence and criminal proceedings. She is admitted to the bar and joined ECCHR's International Crimes and Accountability Program in October 2024 as a legal advisor.
