Rieke Ernst studied cultural studies, sociology and politics at the Humboldt University in Berlin. After her studies, she initially worked in the field of art and film. From 2018 to July 2022, Rieke Ernst worked for the Institute for Legal Intervention and was Assistant to ECCHR General Secretary Wolfgang Kaleck. Since September 2022, she is the project coordinator of the Living Open Archive and responsible for the Activism & Arts program.
