Lisa Pitz

Lisa Pitz is a lawyer and studied law in Munich (Germany), Istanbul (Turkey) and Tel Aviv (Israel) with a focus on international and European law. She holds an LL.M. in international law and human rights from Tel Aviv University. She completed her legal clerkship in Berlin and worked on human rights and environmental due diligence in global supply chains, inter alia, at the German Federal Ministry of Justice, the German Institute for Human Rights and ECCHR. During her legal training, she further worked at the international law chair at Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich as well as at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law and got involved in the Refugee Law Clinic Munich. Lately, she gained experience in the field of ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) at an international corporate law firm. In August 2024, Lisa Pitz joined the Business and Human Rights program at ECCHR as a legal advisor.
