Felipe Bley Folly

Felipe Bley Folly studied law at the Federal University of Paraná in Brazil, where he also earned a master’s degree in public law. He is admitted to the bar in Brazil and has supported social movements focused on human and land rights. He went on to complete an LL.M. at Freie Universität Berlin and a master’s degree in political science at the University of Osnabrück. For nearly seven years, Felipe worked as a project coordinator and legal expert at FIAN International, focusing on the right to land and food, as well as corporate accountability. He then joined the Chair of International Law and Human Rights at the Faculty of Law, University of Tübingen, as a research associate. There, he is currently pursuing a PhD critically examining international financial law and the financialization of land and nature. Since 2025, he works as a Senior Legal Advisor for the Business and Human Rights program.
