Annabell Brüggemann

Annabell Brüggemann studied law in Frankfurt/M. with a focus on fundamentals of law (philosophy, history and sociology of law). She was active with Amnesty International as asylum advisor and focused on criminal and migration law in her practical training as a lawyer. She first joined ECCHR as a legal trainee at the end of her legal clerkship and returned as Legal Advisor in early 2023 after stations as legal advisor on parliamentary transparency obligations in the administration of the German Bundestag and as research fellow at the Chair of Public Law and Comparative Law at Humboldt University Berlin. She currently works as Senior Legal Advisor in ECCHR’s Business and Human Rights program.
