Jemison Tipler

Jemison Tipler studied law at Georgetown University Law Center (U.S.), where she earned a Juris Doctor with a certificate in Refugees and Humanitarian Emergencies. She previously studied Political Science and French at Vassar College (U.S.). Jemison has worked to protect asylum seekers from across the globe and has supported human rights, pro-democracy, and rule of law advocacy. While in law school, Jemison provided legal aid to refugees seeking recognition from the U.N.H.C.R. in Bangkok, Thailand with Asylum Access Thailand and supported refugees and migrants traveling to Europe through the Central Mediterranean route with the Aditus Foundation in Malta. In September 2025, Jemison joined ECCHR’s International Crimes and Accountability Project as a legal fellow.
