What can human rights contribute to the fight against the climate crisis? Human rights and environmental protection are intimately related. Only with a healthy environment can the enforcement of human rights be guaranteed in the first place. The Human Rights Council also acknowledged environmental degradation and climate change as interconnected human rights crises and recognized for the first time that having a clean, healthy, and sustainable environment is a human right. With this special newsletter, we would like to introduce you to ECCHR’s new work area:
