First France, then the Netherlands and, in 2023, Germany - more and more European countries are introducing supply chain laws because they have come to recognize that oil spills, theft of natural recources and forced labor do not come from nowhere. They are the result of the ruthless practices of companies along their global value chains.

Yet, a patchwork composed of separate national laws is not enougn to effectively protect human rights and the environment. Now, the EU has the chance to pass a robust law that is binding for all European companies. Learn more about this and other topics in this newsletter.
