ECCHR is turning 15 this month, and we wanted to take the opportunity to look back on the many endeavors and interventions that have come to define us as an organization, as well as reflect on the global struggle to uphold human rights of recent decades. For our symposium, we invited partners and alumni from all over the world. However, due to the current situation of war, our colleagues and partners from the Palestinian Center for Human Rights could not attend.
ECCHR condemns the severe acts of violence committed in Israel and the subsequent war in Gaza. General Secretary Wolfgang Kaleck has also called for the opening of independent investigations into all acts of war in Israel and Gaza, as well as spoken out in favor of strengthening the International Criminal Court.
