Climate change is accelerating investment in the green economy, including renewable energy or zero-emission industries, from which many European companies benefit. But green economy projects too often neglect the indigenous and social rights of the people living in the areas designated for these projects. ECCHR works to ensure that “green” industries also respect human rights.
