From 2004 to 2011, Claire Tixeire worked for the New York-based Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR) seeking criminal accountability of US officials for war crimes and torture. In those years, she also led the representation of the International Federation for Human Rights (fidh) before the United Nations in New York. Claire Tixeire obtained her masters and law degrees from the Universities of Panthéon-Sorbonne and of Nanterre in Paris, and holds diplomas in International Law from the University of Kent at Canterbury (UK) and Université du Québec à Montréal (Canada). At ECCHR, Claire directs the Critical Legal Training and works with the Business and Human Rights team.
