Andrea Bührmann

Andrea Dorothea Bührmann is Professor of the Sociology of Diversity and Director of the Diversity Research Institute at the University of Göttingen. She has previously worked as a guest researcher and professor at the University of Vienna and the University of California in Berkeley. Bührmann co-edits Diversitas, an international journal on diversity management and diversity research. She has published several contributions on various aspects of reflexive diversity studies. She currently leads a number of research and assessment projects on diversity and is spokesperson for the joint project "Diversity Turn in Land Use Sciences". She serves as a consultant to the Austrian government and as an expert advisor on diversity research and management at several ministries in Germany.
