Rebecca Bamberger completed her Bachelor's degree in Religious and Cultural Studies at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich and the interdisciplinary Master's degree in „Holocaust and Genocide Studies“ at Uppsala University (Sweden). The main focus of her studies were, among other topics, the historical analysis of genocides and mass violence; social mechanisms and the psychology of violence, as well as processes of transitional justice and reconciliation. Since 2022 she has been active as a volunteer for the Jewish youth association Hashomer Hatzair e.V.. In addition, she works as an educator for the Jewish Museum Berlin, as well as for the Kreuzberg Initiative against Anti-Semitism (KIgA). She joined ECCHR as a team assistant in January 2023.
