Jake Soria

Jake Soria studied law at Harvard Law School (US). He previously studied international relations with a focus on Latin America and Spanish at Tufts University (US). While in law school, Jake worked extensively with the International Human Rights Clinic on a project focusing on accountability for Roma communities who suffered lead poisoning while living in UN-managed displacement camps in Kosovo. Through Harvard Advocates for Human Rights, Jake supported the mandate of the UN Independent Expert on sexual orientation and gender identity on issues facing LGBTQ+ people around the world. He also completed a traineeship at the Inter-American Court of Human Rights (IACtHR) in San José, Costa Rica. In September 2024, Jake joined ECCHR's International Crimes and Accountability Project as a legal fellow.
