Andrea Pietrafesa

Andrea Pietrafesa studied law at the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina) with a specialization in international public law and she is also a visual artist. During her studies, she worked in a prosecutor's office investigating crimes against humanity committed during the Argentine military dictatorship. After graduating, Andrea worked as a lawyer at the Center for Justice and International Law (CEJIL) for five years. In June 2022, she worked as legal advisor to the social movements in the Constituent Convention in Chile and subsequently at the Gqual Campaing as a researcher. Andrea is part of the ecofeminist mapuche-chilean-argentinean collective Sur Territoria. Since March 2024, she joined ECCHR’s Institute for Legal Intervention as a legal advisor.
