"Taxi to the Dark Side"

On 19 October 2015 the former Guantánamo detainees Murat Kurnaz and Mourad Benchellali will meet at ECCHR with their lawyers and representatives of Amnesty International, the Center for Constitutional Rights and Human Rights Watch. Together we will discuss litigation strategies and the status of the ongoing proceedings in Spain, France and Germany. 
Kurnaz from Bremen (Germany) and Benchellali from Lyon (France) were detained and tortured in Guantánamo for several years. Since then they have been seeking accountability for those responsible for their suffering.
